Privacy Policy

TesbihApp (“the app”) is a dhikr counter developed by Mert Aslan (“I”). This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use the app or visit this website.

Everything you enter or choose in the app is saved only on your own device, so the app can remember it the next time you open it:

• your counter value and start value,
• the dhikr texts you add or edit,
• your settings (text size, appearance, vibration).

This information is never sent to me or to any third party. I cannot see it, and I cannot recover it for you.

Your phone’s own backup service (for example iCloud or Google backup) may include the app’s data in your device backup, depending on your device settings. That is handled by Apple or Google under your account and their policies; I do not receive or have access to it.

The app does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone, or any other personal data. If you turn on “Vibration”, the app uses your device’s haptic feedback (on Android, this is the only permission the app requests); this does not involve any data.

The app does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. The app itself does not connect to any server. The “Privacy policy” link in Settings simply opens this page in your web browser.

This website is a static site hosted on Vercel. It sets no cookies and has no analytics or third-party trackers, and its fonts are served from the site itself. Like any web host, Vercel may keep standard server logs (such as your IP address and browser type) when you visit.

If you use the language or light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it can be remembered on your next visit. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.

You can delete individual dhikr texts inside the app, or remove all of the app’s data at any time by uninstalling the app.

The app is not specifically directed at children. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children either.

Because I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for me to access, correct, export or delete on my side. Your data is on your device and fully under your control. If you are in the EU, the UK or Türkiye and have a question about your rights under laws such as the GDPR or the KVKK, please get in touch.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
